Hungry

K and I went to Quabbin today and the first place we stopped at was the apple orchard. We were very quiet as we walked in and what a treat, there were several deer munching away. We spent almost 2 hours enjoying their company.

I like how this leaf is resting on the rock along the waters edge.

I really liked this shot, but the fence was too distracting. So, I did a little editing in PS and the flowers center is now the focal point.

Went strolling the yard Sunday and rounded the corner to see this colorful guy.

The leaves are starting to fall, or at least trying to.

This is a sweetpea seedpod. I was lucky to get one with seeds. The pod will split all the way, then each side makes a spiral.

I've been trying some new things with my camera. I used the slow shutter setting for this one, I like the soft look of the water.

Up, up and away...

K and I went to the balloonfest today. Had to be there for 7am to see them lift off! Very cool and well worth it, I've never seen balloons that close.
