Happy 28th Anniversary

From my sweet husband Donald.
Married 28 years today and still lovin' it!

~Colour My World~
(our wedding song)

As time goes on
I realize just what you mean to me
And now, now that you're near
Promise you're love
That I've waited to share and dreams
Of our moments together
Color my world with hope of loving you

Pink Painted Portulaca! (say that 3 times fast) This is in the front garden, it used to be shaded until the birch tree died:-( Until I can decide on another type of tree for this area it will be a sunny garden:-) Posted by Picasa

Innocence

Had a "photoshoot" with Caroline. Babies are not very cooperative, she just wouldn't follow my directions :-) We still had fun! Posted by Picasa

I love how these petals of this gazania look like feathers. I didn't notice the ants when I was taking this shot:) Posted by Picasa

Summit View

This is a view of the Connecticut River Valley from the porch of the Summit House which was a popular mountaintop hotel in the 1800's. Posted by Picasa

I Walk Alone

Took a ride to Deerfield to do some shopping Sunday ('cause it was raining again) and on the way home stopped at the Summit House on Mt. Holyoke. It's part of Skinner State Park and has some of the most breathtaking views of the Connecticut River Valley. Also a good place to take a picnic lunch and wander around. This is my niece Lorin waking alone, (we got a break in the rain) such a pretty place. Posted by Picasa

Tiny Hopper

This tiny hopper was sitting on a geranium leaf sunning himself. I was taking shots of the flowers when I happened to spot this 1/2 inch guy. Posted by Picasa
