Pink Painted Portulaca! (say that 3 times fast) This is in the front garden, it used to be shaded until the birch tree died:-( Until I can decide on another type of tree for this area it will be a sunny garden:-)

Innocence

Had a "photoshoot" with Caroline. Babies are not very cooperative, she just wouldn't follow my directions :-) We still had fun!

I love how these petals of this gazania look like feathers. I didn't notice the ants when I was taking this shot:) 

Summit View

This is a view of the Connecticut River Valley from the porch of the Summit House which was a popular mountaintop hotel in the 1800's.

I Walk Alone

Took a ride to Deerfield to do some shopping Sunday ('cause it was raining again) and on the way home stopped at the Summit House on Mt. Holyoke. It's part of Skinner State Park and has some of the most breathtaking views of the Connecticut River Valley. Also a good place to take a picnic lunch and wander around. This is my niece Lorin waking alone, (we got a break in the rain) such a pretty place.

Tiny Hopper

This tiny hopper was sitting on a geranium leaf sunning himself. I was taking shots of the flowers when I happened to spot this 1/2 inch guy.
