This is how you do it, passed to me from Wendy who got it from Leesa and so on and so on :-)

It looks like a big long drawn out process, but it's really not. All you do is open a picture, (I am using Photoshop ELEMENTS ... a bit different from the link) but, open a picture, go to 'filter', "distort" and choose POLAR COORDINATES. There are TWO choices under the polar coordinates. Choose the SECOND selection: "Polar to Rectangular". Click OK. Then, go to "Image" and choose "rotate" and rotate your image 180 degrees. Then, go BACK to the Polar Coordinates and click on the FIRST choice ... "Rectangular to Polar" .. .and there you have your circle art. Simple!! I find that pictures with more color congregated in the center of the picture make a better choice. The color all around the outside of picture is what will end up being your center color. OH --- and of course, I mess with the colors and the contrasts. I increase the contrasts to make the picture more 'shiney'. I did the same picture a few times, and changed the color/contrast/shadows etc. Just keep messing and you'll see. Oh, and on a few, I applied other filters -- like the blue on yellow circle art - I applied the 'glass' filter and chose 'block glass' ... and others, before I did the final "rectangular to polar' distort -- I applied the "pinch" filter a few times, and pinched in the picture to further distort it before putting it into the final circle phase. I have done about 35 of them so far ... just too addictive for me!! Have fun, and please be sure to share your finished products!!
